Tuscan holidays in an ancient village
The Gello hamlet from the Municipality of Montecatini Val di Cecina already mentioned in a Leonardo da Vinci card, has nine stone houses, a church with its bell tower and a small school resting on top of the hill. Among the houses grows a group of centennial cypress trees, farm fields and woods surround the hill, and the sea can be seen at less than twenty kilometers away.
Casedigello offers 4 rural carefully furnished and renovated houses , each equipped with heating, wood burning fireplaces and private terraces and a swimming pool with a view. The mild climate of the countryside is suitable for a holiday in all seasons of the year, in a natural environment particularly suitable for families with children.

Gello in the drawings of Leonardo Da Vinci
The dominant position of Gello and the arrangement of the buildings in circle indicate that it was founded centuries ago.
The town definitely already existed during the Middle Ages, and the first map it appears on is a Val di Cecina survey drawn by Leonardo da Vinci in 1503 (Windsor Royal Library 12683), where Gello is are clearly mentioned among other cities whose names have remain almost unchanged.

Four independent stone built cottages and a common event area are available for the guests of Casedigello.
Each suggested accommodation provides the single party occupancy with a cottage and its dedicated outdoor spaces for groups comprising from two up to six people with children.
